Hiresphere is a comprehensive job portal designed to streamline the recruitment process by connecting candidates and recruiters with ease. The platform offers seamless authentication through email-password and Google login, ensuring a smooth onboarding experience. With two user roles, “candidate” and “recruiter,” Hiresphere allows personalized onboarding for each, gathering the necessary information to cater to their unique needs. Recruiters can post job listings, and candidates can apply for jobs, with features like real-time notifications on job application status and detailed profile management. Hiresphere also operates on a subscription-based model with three tiers, each offering benefits such as increased job application limits and posting capabilities.
One of the major challenges faced during the development of Hiresphere was ensuring a smooth and efficient user experience across both candidate and recruiter profiles.
Designing separate onboarding processes for each role required careful consideration of the data to be collected and how it would affect future interactions. Additionally, implementing a subscription-based model with different tiers posed complexity in terms of managing limits on job applications and postings, while maintaining flexibility for users to upgrade. Real-time updates for candidates and recruiters, particularly around job applications and statuses such as “selected” or “rejected,” required tight integration between the frontend and backend to deliver timely notifications without delays.
